Bonus Tip - SEO your PRs!

When was the last time you issued a press release about your site?
New client? New product? Something newsworthy?
Then get a press release out there! But (and this is the point of this post) make sure you optimise the press release for your key phrases.
Include them in the title, and in the copy, and if you’re putting the press release online, then include them in the title and keyword tags.

USA Today recently interviewed Google’s Matt Cutts and he shared his top tips for getting listed in Google. No surprises, to be honest, but I thought I’d share
- Spotlight your search term on the page.
- Fill in your tags.
- Get other sites to link back to you.
- Create a blog and post often.
- Register for free Google tools.
- Don’t overdo it!

Bonus Tip@ Webmaster Guidelines updated!

Matt Cutts of Google fame posts on his blog that Google have changed some of their documentation relating to the SEO do and don’ts in Webmaster guidelines.
Changes have been made to documentation regarding robots.txt, cloaking and IP delivery, nofollow links, doorway pages and more.
