Adwords is a really great tool for promoting your website, forum or affiliate link. the ppc cost of adwords is even cheaper than Friendster or Facebook. before, i used to advertise on facebook but the ROI is so low. Adwords gives me a much better ROI compared to Facebook ads.

I use to do exactly this, respond to each and every individual E-Update subscription and I found this a great rapport builder and relationship starter.

Shame the director of the company thought i was wasting time, after being told to change the method back to automated, yep you guessed it! the subscription numbers soon diminished and the paid for advertisers became non-existent.

Now I am self employed, and that particular publication is going under. I will be launching an alternative shortly.

i do Social Media Marketing specially when promoting a new website or an affiliate product. Social media is more effective than offline advertising in my opinion.
