Don’t get everyone to link to you with the same anchor text, and don’t use the same anchor text in all of your links.
Vary the text to give you more of a chance with different search phrases.
This also ensures that Google doesn’t see the exact same anchor text for you everywhere and mistakenly presume you’ve been on some automated spree.

Most business to business sites in the UK will not need to run pay per click ads all night, so switch them off if possible.
Most of my clients run ads from 7am to 9pm only – in one client’s case simply changing this small thing saved them hundreds of pounds in clicks per month, yet their ROI didn’t drop at all!
We all know that links into a site is a good thing. We should know by now that one way links are better than reciprocal ones.
It’s tempting to set up a number of sites, all related to the same topic, and link them to each other in order to gain more ‘link popularity’.
And it used to work.
It doesn’t now – don’t do it. Get good quality links from good quality sites (preferably not on the same server as you) and use anchor text wherever possible.

No link farms……. Google doesn’t like it.
Have a look at your sitemap right now (you do have a sitemap don’t you?). Whether it’s an HTML one for human eyes or an XML one for Google’s eyes, it needs to be kept up to date.
Have you added new content to your site recently? Then update your sitemap.
Removed pages? Then update your sitemap
Changed things around a little? Then, yep, you guessed it, update your sitemap!
In short, if ANYTHING changes on your website, you should update your sitemap as soon as possible.
